Volunteer Firefighters - a relic from the past or a phenomenon of today?

Bachelor thesis called Volunteer Firefighters - a relic from the past or a phenomenon of today? follows up volunteer firefighters and their activities not only in the past, but also current times. This thesis looks into whether the volunteer firefighters department Dolní Žďár is still traditional folk culture or already popular culture. Concurrently is in this work tracked how this department has been changed through the times. It is separated between four parts. In the first one there are explained only basic concepts. The second one is about the history of firefighters. The third part is about a mentioned firefighters department in Dolní Žďár and about the history. The last part includes a separation of culture customs which they still maintain in the village.
Russian and Czech Christmas Folk Traditions at the Lessons of Russian Language

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis and detailed description of the basic holidays of the civil year. The theoretical part of the thesis contains the study of the most popular folk traditions, religious rituals and beliefs of the Slavs, the way how Christian church (Catholic and Orthodox) influenced on the origin of fundamental traditions and rituals. There is also a description of the way the major Slavonic holidays are held. Czech and Russian traditions are compared in order to find some basic similarities and differences between them and to analyze the development of the traditions in historical context. Such issues as language pedagogy, intercultural language competence and how to use traditions at Russian lessons at primary and secondary schools are also emphasized in the work. The practical part of the thesis deals with the analysis of some books used for teaching Russian language at Czech schools in order to find out how customs, folk traditions and holidays are described and presented. It also contains the research of the contemporary situation at Czech schools in the form of the testing of the teachers of Russian language and the students of elementary and secondary schools. (in English): The focus of this thesis is to examine Korean customs, manners and etiquette within the life cycle. The aim of this work is not to describe the various rituals from either anthropological or sociological perspective, but to overview customs, rituals and social etiquette rules which that accompany these rituals. The work is divided into four main chapters, including a general description of Korean society, childbirths, wedding ceremonies and finally death and ancestor worship.
Russian and Czech Folk Traditions at Christmas Time

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis and detailed description of the basic holidays of the civil year in winter period of time. It also contains the study of the most popular folk traditions, religious rituals and beliefs of the Slavs from Advent till Christmastide or Christmas season. The historical background of the adoption of Christianity in the territory of the Czech Republic and Russia and the way how Christian church influenced on the origin of fundamental traditions and rituals has also been taken into consideration. There is also a description of the way the major Slavonic holidays are held. The thesis deals with such religious and secular holidays as Christmas, Advent, New Year, Christmas season, Epiphany and other traditional holidays.
The influence of folk culture, traditions and customs to children education and their application in dramatic education

The thesis presents the infuence of folk culture to children education. Theoretical part presents history of relate tradions of folk culture with basic part of folk. There is also summary and description of several traditions, customs and feast through the folk year. The second part devote of tradition folk culture in school education and leisure education in present and in historical changes of schools. Practical part attempts find possibility application of tradition folk culture in dramatic education. Creative project gets acquainted children with history and meaning customs called "Openin the well". Aim of project is motivate members of folk dance group to practise and present of this custom.
